Your Role Within the Team<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care, you will play an essential role in the success of our medical team by providing comprehensive, personalized care in close collaboration with our family physicians.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More specifically, you will be responsible for:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Monitor patients in collaboration with doctors<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Collaborating with doctors and the team in the care of our patients<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Participating in the evolution of the nursing service<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Perform blood tests<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Installing and monitoring electrocardiograms<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Conduct consultations for immunization and travel health<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Administering injections<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Monitor blood pressure<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Providing education on diabetes and hypertension<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Perform Pap tests and allergy tests<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Document interventions in the electronic medical record and adhere to professional standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Desired Profile<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • Relevant experience of 10 years or more is a very important asset<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • DEC in nursing techniques or Bachelor of Science in Nursing<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Member in good standing of the Ordre des infirmi\u00e8res et infirmiers du Qu\u00e9bec (OIIQ);<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Human approach, keen clinical sense and collaborative spirit;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Ability to work effectively within a dynamic team environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
